New UK sports car maker says GCC sales plan on track

Fledgling sports car manufacturer McLaren Automotive has said that its Dubai showroom would be one of its largest globally.
As the company pushes ahead with preparations for the arrival of its debut model, the MP4-12C, officials confirmed that its Middle East flagship showroom would be located in Downtown Burj Khalifa, opposite the world`s tallest tower.
The British car manufacturer also said plans for the opening of the six other showrooms across the region remained on track, adding that the MP4-12C was due to go on sale later this year with a price tag of around $ 220,000.
The company also announced that each Middle East customer will be assigned 24/7 customer support and a full set of replacement parts at each dealership.
Ian Gorsuch, McLaren Automotive regional director, Middle East Africa and Asia Pacific said: “We are extremely excited to see our new McLaren showrooms taking shape, especially the Dubai store, which will be one of our flagship showrooms.”
